About FiNC

 At the Future is Now Coalition (FiNC), we’re building a citizen-owned alternative political ecosystem designed to fundamentally upgrade democracy. Our mission is to restore true citizen representation, level the playing field for grassroots candidates (including independents and third parties), and make politics accessible and actionable for everyday Americans.


We’re leading a meta-movement—a movement of movements, uniting those who recognize the system itself isn’t just broken; it’s rigged. Rather than trying to navigate or fight within it, we’re replacing it entirely with something better: transparent, accountable, and truly representative. Our approach is nonpartisan, solutions-driven, and built for long-term impact.


At the core of FiNC is a shift in perspective we call “Seeing in DP” (Digital Politics). DP is a mindset—a lens that reveals the deeper structures behind partisan narratives, clearly showing the root causes of political dysfunction. It’s not about changing what people believe, but helping them understand how power truly operates, so they can engage confidently, not reactively. When you see in DP, you stop choosing sides and start transforming systems.


FiNC is structured as a cooperative-style nonprofit, where team members aren’t just employees, they’re partners. Everyone plays an active role in shaping our mission, strategy, and growth.

To maintain our independence and avoid conflicts of interest, we are not accepting investors or financing that comes with strings attached. Instead, we are Crowd-Starting FiNC—building it together from the ground up.

 

We’re asking team members to contribute 15-20 hours per week during this phase, with all time tracked and paid retroactively once we become fully operational.

 

This model only works if you see it as a short-term investment for long-term rewards. Everyone who joins is a partner, receiving an ownership stake in FiNC. Our structure is similar to a Nonprofit Cooperative, moving beyond the traditional “employee vs employer” dynamic into something more collaborative and forward-thinking.

Job Description

 

We are seeking a Web Designer to focus on improving our information-intense website using WordPress (via elementor). It’s an informational & engagement website breaking down our intricate mission to help Americans understand our multi-dimensional plan to evolve America’s political system. 

It’s separate from our political platform (Digital Democracy) and does not require much coding.

 

We are looking for someone visually-strong, creative, and knows how to design the layout of a website. They will work closely with our Marketing and Art teams to add new copy and visual elements.

 

The main focus is helping reorganize the site to be less overwhelming, allowing citizens to “zoom in and out” of information that resonates with them instead of walls of text.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Maintain the Future is Now website (known as FiNC-Web)

  • Work across teams to communicate and execute design and content changes 

  • Partner with Art on design 

  • Must be proficient in WordPress (elementor experience a plus)
  • Able to structure and manage the overall layouts and visuals
