We are asking everyone to invest 15-20 hours a week of their skills during this period to get the organization on its feet before we receive our first paychecks. All hours will be tracked and paid after we launch.

Everyone joining is a partner and will receive an ownership stake in the organization, as we are building a structure akin to a Nonprofit Cooperative. We need an SEO Specialist to focus on improving our SEO presence (we use WordPress) as well as implement On-Page SEO techniques and keeping WP plugins updated. It’s an informational & engagement website breaking down our intricate mission.
We are looking for someone with strong SEO skills. Additional technical abilities are a plus. They will work closely with our Marketing team and update the website’s content while adding supporting visual elements. We want to create an interactive experience for Americans to explore the next generation of politics.
We are looking for someone artsy/visually-focused rather than developer/tech-focused. This is not a Developer role. We need someone creative/right-brained who can see the bigger picture and be able to collaborate with various cross-functional teams.
Objectives & Responsibilities:
Maintain the Future is Now website
Continually update and improve On–Page SEO
Understanding of the maintenance of WordPress, including plugins
Work across teams to communicate and execute design and content changes
Partner with Marketing and Art Teams on design
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in WordPress
Able to structure and manage website layouts and visuals
Experience building websites
Strong communication skills
Off-Page SEO knowledge preferred
